Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including name, email address, company information, and any other information you choose to provide when using our services. We also collect usage data such as work orders, inventory records, and customer information that you input into the Service Dock platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send technical notices and support messages, and respond to your requests. We may also use information to communicate with you about products, services, and events.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as described in this policy. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our platform, subject to confidentiality obligations.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also opt out of receiving marketing communications from us. To exercise these rights, please contact us at support@servicedock.ca.

6. QuickBooks Online Integration

If you choose to connect Service Dock to QuickBooks Online, we facilitate an OAuth 2.0 authorization flow on your behalf using Intuit's official API. Your QuickBooks access and refresh tokens are stored exclusively in your device's operating system secure keychain and are never transmitted to or stored on Service Dock servers. Service Dock does not retain standing access to your QuickBooks company data. You can disconnect the integration at any time from Settings → QuickBooks → Disconnect, which revokes the stored tokens from your device.

7. Cloud Storage Connections

If you choose to connect Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox inside the Service Dock desktop application, Service Dock uses OAuth authorization to access only the storage account and folders you approve for backup or media storage. The connected cloud account is used to upload, list, download, and delete the backup or media files you configure through the desktop application.

Cloud account tokens are stored securely on your device and are not shown in the application. Service Dock does not sell connected cloud storage data, does not use connected files for advertising, and does not route your backup or media files through Service Dock servers when direct provider upload is used.

The public Service Dock website does not connect to, read from, write to, or manage your Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox account. Cloud storage access is initiated only from the desktop application after you choose a provider and approve the provider's authorization screen.
